Hi. I'm Kevin.

I'm a documentary and adventure photographer based in Topeka, KS. Over the years I have photographed everything from Formula 1 cars in Spain to weddings all across the United States. The short answer is...I love experiencing new places, meeting awesome new people, and telling their stories through photos.

My journey to Seven.One Magazine began with an invitation from a friend to apply for credentials to a Sporting Kansas City match shortly after we moved to a nearby city. Knowing the standard high shutter speed, action only soccer photography with which we’re all to familiar…I thought of applying my documentary approach to telling the story of a match through my images.

Photographer Joshua Paul and Lollipop Magazine are huge inspirations for me. Seeing how he’s creating “timeless” images with his 1913 Graflex SLR 4x5 camera of the fastest sport on the planet got me thinking….what if I did the same with soccer photography?

Well…here we are. Capturing a total of eight games in the midst of a challenging 2022 season, I’m hooked. There’s so much more of this story to tell. Bring on the 2023 season!
